Looking for a language course in Kuala Lumpur? Hibiscus Academy 大紅花學館 is opening its September and October 2026 intake, with nine face-to-face small-group courses covering Thai, Japanese, Italian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka and English.
Located in Kuala Lumpur Chinatown, within walking distance of Pasar Seni LRT and MRT, our language programmes are designed for adult learners who want structured, practical learning in a small-group classroom environment.

September & October 2026 Language Courses
🇹🇭 Basic Thai A1.1
Starts: 17 September 2026
Day: Thursday
Time: 7:30 PM–9:30 PM
Level: Complete beginner
Students learn Thai systematically from the beginning, including pronunciation, tones, everyday communication, Thai script, reading and writing. The aim is not simply to memorise useful phrases, but to establish a foundation for continued learning.

Level: Complete beginner
Learn practical Cantonese for everyday communication and build a foundation for using the language in real-life situations.
🇮🇹 Basic Italian A1.1
Starts: 19 September 2026
Day: Saturday
Time: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Level: Complete beginner
The course introduces pronunciation, greetings, self-introduction, everyday conversations, numbers, time, travel, transportation and essential beginner grammar. No previous knowledge of Italian is required.
🇨🇳 Basic Mandarin A1.1 — Comprehensive
Starts: 19 September 2026
Day: Saturday
Time: 1:30 PM–3:30 PM
Level: Complete beginner
A comprehensive pathway covering speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students begin with Hanyu Pinyin and pronunciation before progressing to Chinese characters, basic strokes, numbers, dates and everyday communication.

Level: Complete beginner
Designed especially for learners whose priority is speaking and listening. Topics include greetings, self-introduction, numbers, dates, occupations, telephone numbers, prices, shopping and other practical situations.
🇬🇧 English for Everyday Communication A2
Starts: 22 September 2026
Day: Tuesday
Time: 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
Level: A2
Suitable for adults who have already studied some English but still find it difficult to speak naturally in everyday situations. The course focuses on practical communication, with Mandarin explanations available when necessary.
🇯🇵 日本語基礎 A1.1
Starts: 23 September 2026
Day: Wednesday
Time: 7:30 PM–9:30 PM
Level: Complete beginner
Medium: Mandarin
Students begin with Hiragana and Katakana and develop a foundation in pronunciation, greetings, self-introduction, numbers, shopping, common Kanji, vocabulary and basic grammar.
🇬🇧 English for Confident Communication B1+
Starts: 23 September 2026

Time: 7:30 PM–9:30 PM
Level: B1+
For adults who already know English but want to speak more naturally and confidently and communicate more effectively in everyday, academic and professional situations.
🆕 客家語基礎級 Hakka A1.1 — October Intake
Starts: 3 October 2026

Time: 1:30 PM–3:30 PM
Duration: 12 lessons × 2 hours = 24 hours
